Need to flash Ativ S missing drivers? topic

Hi all.

I started experiencing weird problems with my Ativ S, so I thought I do a hard reset and start clean. I got stuck to a known issue with the Ativ and GDR3, where after hard reset the apps wont instal from the store. The only solution I saw was to flash the device. I have the GDR2 rom so I thought no problem, however I cant get the drivers to instal on the download mode so I could start the flash process.

I have tried to instal 2 different drivers: SamsungUSBDriver.msi and I8750_Qualcomm_USB_composite_driver_HK11-VB717-38.zip Neither of these (that I found, if they are the correct packages) have worked so that the Ativ is recognized correctly in the download mode and I could start flash. When Ativ is connected in the download mode, its only a USB DOWNLOADER with exclamation point.

Im running 64bit Windows 8.1 Pro system.

as Title discribes, my Camera App won't start not with Hardkey nor Softkey.
Don't tried this feature on GDR2 (Phone was shipped with GDR2 - Samsung Ativ S)
Anyone an idea?

Gotta switch but, I was wondering if 2 things are available in wp8 for sprint. 1- Is there any restriction for downloads and is there free Internet sharing. I realize this question is redundant but I keep getting different answers.

[Q] Bricked Samsung Ativ S T899M Rom Flash? topic

New to Windows Phone 8 (been flashing custom ROMs on Android phones for a few years). Got an unlocked (previous Rogers) Ativ S SGH-T899M from Canada and have been using it on T-Mobile for the past few months. I tried to update it to GDR3 via the "Preview for Developers" and the phone is bricked. It gave me a BSOD error during the update and now it won't turn on. I tried every button combination possible to reset it to no avail.

When I connect it to my PC, it comes up as a Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3).

I've searched everywhere and it seems that there are no T899M ROMs to flash? Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated it. I love my phone and don't want to get rid of it!

The other question is, when i update ( if ) to GDR3 is it 100% i will lose interop unlock ?

Nothing happens when connecting Ativ S on PC topic

My Ativ S used to work great, but two days ago I accepted a Samsung update. Since then my phone was without sounds on speaker and not charging. To make it charge I had to turn it off and then connect the cable. Today I decided to do a hard reset (lost my here drive+ :( ) and now everything works well. Except my phone is not recognized when plugged on any pc (I tried 2 windows 7 and 1 windows 8). That way I can't downgrade or do anything else via cable. Can somebody help me?

Edit: It does however charge while connected to the computer
