Still worth buying? topic

Contemplating buying one in black, can get it really cheap as well, previous phone was a nexus 4 now i've got a moto g.. I've always liked the look of the htc and the speakers etc really attract me.

If battery is as good as moto g and lasts a good day with a lot of use I think I might go for it..

thoughts?

[Q] Buying a Firefox Os Phone topic

Hello,

I have been thinking about purchasing a firefox phone for testing apps for quite some time. So far I have looked at phones from three manufacturers:

1. GeeksPhone
Their Revolution is yet to be released but they haven't announced when that will be.
2. Zte Open
This seems to be the best bet, its cheap and its readily available on ebay india. The seller page mentions that it supports US 3G network? Would it work with Indian Carriers?

Thanks!

[Q] Buying Nexus 5 topic

I decided to buy a Nexus 5 (16GB version), in my country (Eastern Europe) it is about 5 (including standard 2 year warranty).

And one of my friends told me that he'll be visiting Japan, so I want to make him buy for me. If he can find one i estimated the price to be around 5 including the registration fee and taxes to my country, but I learned that the warranty would not be valid in my country. And my friend does not know too much about these devices.

So would it be worth the risk, or should i just buy from my country?

Thanks.

Buying the Xperia Z1? topic

Hey guys! I was thinking of picking up an Xperia Z1. I currently own a HTC One and Nexus 5 and would be selling both to get the Z1.

My main concerns are the reviews of the camera are inconsistant. Some have great results, some are okay.

The second concern I have is the output of the headphone jack and speaker. I need something on the louder side which the HTC One provides but the Nexus 5 does not. How does this one compare?

My last concern is the physical size. It looks like a very large phone with the top and bottom bezels. How well is the pocketability and such? I dont wear skinny jeans, but they arent baggy either.

Thanks guys and gals!

[Q] Looking into buying the Nexus 5 next month... topic

Hey guys,

I'm looking into buying the Nexus 5 as I feel like I want a much faster and more responsive Android experience and I also want to get a phone that is very well supported by the developers of XDA...

I have had both of the following handsets previously:
-HTC Wildfire(Buzz)
-HTC One V(PrimoU)

My biggest complaints about my previous handsets are that the Android experience is very slow, sloppy and HTC Sense'd meaning that to get an acceptable level of performance out of them they had to be rooted and flashed with 'close to Google' ROMs and because of the lack of developers that were interested in these devices they were relatively unstable even with their best ROMs.

My real question is pointed at users who currently have a Nexus 5 and had a relatively comparable phone to the HTC Wildfire or HTC One V, am I making the right move (based on what I've said) to buy the Nexus 5 and do you think that it's worth its money or are there better phones available in your opinion?
