Is this project dead? topic

Everything I'm seeing concerning this ends around the beginning of 2013. Did development come to a hault?

I would love to load this onto my EVO 4g LTE, but it seems it isn't very friendly with the device (no data, sound, etc).

Thanks for any current update

[Question] What all is included in a project for an APB hack topic

Hello there, I have a relatively simple question about what a pre-compiled project for a simple APB hack would be.

Mainly asking due to me looking to start a simple hack for APB since I feel confident enough in my knowledge at the moment to do so. I'm just not entirely sure of everything I need in the project.

Say I wanted to have a simple 3D bounding boxes hack, what are all the files that need to be there for a successful build, and what the project would look like pre-compiled.

Going to use the answer as a template to make sure I use everything I need.

Thanks in advance!

(If there is another thread answering this question, I could not find it)

[Q] App2SD in Unofficial AOSB Project topic

Dear all,
I'm very sorry if I will enrage someone with this question, but I searched and I searched and I didn't find the answer to my question.
I recently installed the above mentioned ROM and I can't find the way how to turn app2sd ON, nor how to set the camera to save taken photos and recorded films to external SD. I also use Viewranger application with premium maps (maps on my ext.SD card) and it seems the application can't find them. Like the connection from application to SD is not found. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues? I do love this ROM and would like to find the way to set this things, if any help from you. Any Ideas?

Thank you. Best Regards

Which version of GApps for CM10.1 (Owl Project)? topic

So I'm looking for the correct version of GApps for CM10.1 (Owl Project). Their page doesn't say anything about installing GApps. Also, will I need to increase internal storage to be able to install GApps?

eg) Using something like INT2EXT? Is there anyway to do that without having a SD card reader, could I just plug my phone with the SD card in it to my PC?

Thanks :)

[Q] NFC Project topic

Hello everyone

I am doing a project as part of my final year in engineering, and the project is an automated toll collection system, using NFC payment method. So I need to know if my idea is feasible.

I have a Nexus 5 and my friend and team mate has an HTC One. Our idea is to tap the phone with our NFC app open, on a "payment terminal" which will send details to the terminal over NFC, and that terminal must verify these details of the user (USERNAME & PASSWORD) and call a java web service, and return some other information back to the phone over NFC. Since we do not have a "terminal" as such, we plan on using one of the phones as a "customer phone" and the other as the "terminal".

I know I can develop an app for the Nexus 5 that can easily handle this, but is the same freedom available with the HTC One?

There are two apps we'll be using:
1. Client app on phone1 that sends user details over NFC to "terminal"(phone2)
2. Terminal app on phone2 that receives details over NFC and eventually returns confirmation to phone1.

I'd like to know which phone will work best as phone1 and phone2.

All help is greatly appreciated and I thank you all in advance :)

[Q] Stuck in TWRP recovery project in G2 topic

Hi out there looking for help with my G2 (D803) . I am new to all this rooting and TWRP stuff but been trying to learn and figure this out. I accepted some update after which the phone only boots into TWRP recovery project v2.6.3.2 now. Looks like I lost everything else (at least that is what I think has happened).

So I have been reading on the forums and learned about using ADB devices and getting the right rom from xda-developers (I am with Telus in Canada) - used http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2432476 - downloaded LG support tool and flash tool and drivers for phone and installed them all on the computer.

I first had trouble pushing the rom on to my phone (using ADB devices and ADB push commands) because the phone would just turn off while transferring and I could only regain access when the battery is fully drained (happens really fast now?) and I recharge (which seems to take forever now?).

I took the phone to a store and they did some tweaking (says SIMULATING ACTIONS on the title now below TWRP and version number) after which I could push the ROM (I did rename it on the computer) successfully on to the phone using "ADB push" in command prompt.

I proceeded to install the rom and it says successful but clearly it did not work. What I see is:

Finished running boot script.
E:storage partition '//TWRP/BACKUPS/018bf7ce0f4c6fa0' not found
simulation actions ...
updating partition details ...

but then I reboot and it goes back into TWRP.

I tried going through flashtool as well and followed the steps to install the kdz file but it seems like the computer is not connecting to the phone. But if i go to device manager the device shows and says working properly (i installed the drivers already) and you also hear the beep when plugging in the USB cable into the phone. again it also seems to connect through command prompt because i can push a file successfully.

I am getting worried that I am out of luck with this phone . Can anyone help or provide suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? Would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Quote:

All I've done is compiled sources to bring you these builds. All the heavy lifting is done over at https://github.com/orgs/AICP - thank those guys, they are working incredibly hard to bring AICP to us. I think the list of developers goes something like this: LorD ClockaN, zipsnet, n3ocort3x, semdoc and all the others that I have missed! Enjoy this great ROM with our great P880

That means that any bugs that exist in other AICP builds will probablacy exist in these builds.
