Unofficial CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4.2 "Kitkat") topic

Testing appreciated

CyanogenMod 11 unofficial 2014/03/24 (Android 4.4.2 "Kit Kat")
Download: http://d-h.st/MIs
MD5: 877d1ab510f1592c45f121c0f11fd41e

Gapps (optional): http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-kk-20140105-signed.zip

Before installing, please make a nandroid backup of your data and then wipe your phone using Chillybean's Anti-Venom Super Duper Wipe inside of 4EXT Recovery. Install and use this ROM at your own risk. I am not responsible for any data loss or damage that happens to your phone. You have been warned.

On January 29, 2014, polymath257 posted an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 11 that he had compiled using Chillybean's instructions. I have now done the same thing, but with a newer build. I am merely a compiler, not a developer. All credit goes to @chillybean, Evervolv, and the CyanogenMod team. I also want to thank @polymath257 for helping me get started.

From my very limited testing, here's what I've been able to determine about what does and does not work.
Verizon CDMA works, but from what I can tell GSM does not (at least on my particular phone and SIM), even with a GSM patch applied. Camera doesn't work. Screenshots work. I am unable to test cellular data because I have it disabled on my plan. Further testing appreciated.

If a stable, fully functional daily driver is what you're looking for, this is NOT the ROM for you! In that case, I currently recommend Chillybean's unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 with these settings. My build is intended for people who use an Incredible 2 as a secondary device and don't mind if certain things don't work. Indeed, Chilly's CM10.1 will be my daily driver until Kitkat becomes stable and fully functional for our phone, and I do not have the programming skill to make that happen.

[Q] App2SD in Unofficial AOSB Project topic

Dear all,
I'm very sorry if I will enrage someone with this question, but I searched and I searched and I didn't find the answer to my question.
I recently installed the above mentioned ROM and I can't find the way how to turn app2sd ON, nor how to set the camera to save taken photos and recorded films to external SD. I also use Viewranger application with premium maps (maps on my ext.SD card) and it seems the application can't find them. Like the connection from application to SD is not found. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues? I do love this ROM and would like to find the way to set this things, if any help from you. Any Ideas?

Thank you. Best Regards

[Q] Upgrade to the latest unofficial firmware in Canada topic

My Moto G phone is running Android 4.4.2 Blur_Version.173.44.9.falcon_umts.Telus.en.CA which is the latest official firmware for Telus.

sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
has only 173.44.9 but do not have 174.44.9 for Telus.
174.44.9 is available only for Vodafone UK.
Does it mean 174.44.9 is not available for Telus in Canada yet?
I do not want to root my phone.
Is it possible to upgrade to Blur_Version.174.44.9.falcon_umts.VodafoneSL.en.GB ?
How?
If it is not possible to upgrade without rooting my phone, then I will wait for Blur_Version.174.44.9.falcon_umts.Telus.en.CA.
If the VodafoneSL version does not work well for Telus after upgrade, is it possible to revert back to
Blur_Version.173.44.9.falcon_umts.Telus.en.CA?

We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.
