carbon anyone topic

Hi someone asked me to help on porting Carbon to moto x. at this moment i really don't want to take on a another project but i did decide to make a build to see if people really want it. i like many options when it comes to roms but i don't want to maintain another thread..i may ask a carbon member to take on this device for nightlies and i can help every so often.

Xposed on Carbon ROM. topic

Hey everyone, just a quick question. I was wondering if the Xposed framework will work on the latest Carbon nightly. I read that Xposed used to be baked into the ROM itself, but they removed it due to stability issues. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Mine is an i9300 rooted and running 4.1.2
I have downloaded the carbon rom 4.4,2 meant for i9300 and also the gapps to the phone' sd card,
Can I upgrade the phone via mobile Odin pro only? I don't have access to a PC or a mac.
Or is it better to go via CMWM?
Don't want to mess up my only phone:)

i have a galaxy s3 us cellular and i was able to flash the rom on but i couldnt get the gapps to flash it says it was successful then when i reboot it says( setup wizard stop working ) what am i doing wrong ?

Carbon Rom official nightlies for LS980 released! topic

Hey guys Carbon Rom nightly is now available for our device! Not sure if this is the right section because I don't have anything to do with making the rom, but I see their is one for Cyanogenmod so I think I am safe.

I see no mention anywhere of the fact that Carbon posted a KK experimental and nightly today for the SG3!

Anyone have any info on this? I've been running 1.8 for so long and am so ready for something new! :silly:

[Q] i cant change my boot animation - carbon 4.4.2 topic

Hello everybody ! Last night i decided to change my bootanimation on my i9070 4.4.2 carbon. I followed the steps here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2370870
So, first of all i flashed the file called " Enable Bootanimation.zip " using CWM recovery. At the next step i downloaded an animation and rename it to bootanimation.zip and put i in system/media. Finaly I changed permissions rw-r--r-- , but nothing happened. When i reboot the phone every time SAMSUNG GALAXY i9070 logo appear and after 10 seconds insted of animation on the display appear lines with diferrent colours (like a broken display ).

P.s. i deleted bootanimtion.zip file from system/media ...but the lines still apear everytime i reboot ... ;(

Any suggestion ?

Helium AKA Carbon & other App Syncs topic

Hi everyone.

I'm at the point of losing my mind with this bloody app helium..

When I first used the app for my nexus 7 too galaxy nexus it was fantastic and did everything I expected it to do,
so much so I bought it for like £2.

I currently have 3 devices now, Nexus 7 tablet, Galaxy nexus phone and P880 LG...
im gonna be selling the Gnexus and moving onto the p880.

The problem now is that two bugger apps hillclimbracing and fail hard wont seem to restore from either
dropbox, google drive or by finding it from the wifi list and copying it across the network.

The app says "back up complete" however they wont restore to the other device, it just fails (I have also checked and made sure the apps
im trying to restore are not running)

the p880 and Gn are both using MIUI and the Nexus7 is rooted and using stock rom 4.4.2
all permissions are set to allow...

can anyone recommend another app that might just do the job without the head ache?

one thing I don't get with helium is when you go to restore and app and its not installed
its wanting to connect to play to download it first, then over write it?

I was also wondering if games like this have copy protection on them but I don't see why they would need that being free?
