[Q] Store and Send data automatically Using SQLite Database topic

Hi my app will do wifi scan and send the data (using JSON Array) to splunk server(web server) periodically, now at the time of wifi disconnection I cant send, so I am planning to store the scan result using SQLite database and automatically send them to server when it reconnect to the wifi network. Kindly help me how to do that.

FYI: when the user is disconnected the app will scan and store data for every 1 min and when reconnect it should send automatically the stored data to the server.

I can start the scan when disconnection happens but dont know how to store the data in JSON format in SQLite and send them automatically to server without getting request form the server.

Good day to all. I just wanna ask some help about my phone (sony xperia go) . i upgraded it to android 4.0 , rooted it and downloads some games . After a month my phone shutdown automatically and i cant open it . i've tried some tricks like to open it hold the power and volume down/up but nothing happens. Tried to charge it but the flash only blink once (red) then it gones. Can't charge it using universal charger coz its battery was built in . [TUT] How to get rid of automatically created .Thumbnails folder topic

Hello, I was going through a very serious problem since days. When we have few pics in Albums, it creates cache for those pics in memory qith folder name .thumbnails
Sometimes the size of these cache is more than 1.5GB+.

This is a big issue for devices like Xperia M, with very low internal memory.

So i got a way to solve this.

For that, you will need ES File Explorer. No root is needed for this.

You have to do is follow these instructions.
1. Open ES File Explorer.
2. Make the hidden files viewable.
3. Go to DCIM folder.
4. You'll see thumbails folder, delete it.
5. Now create new file and name it as ".thumbnails" without quote.
And you are done.

Click on "Thanks" is important before going to make this thing work. :D;):beer:

Looking for an app that can automatically turn off WiFi when I want to send MMS and t topic

Is there anything out there that can do this? I have my WiFi set to come on automatically when I get home but it causes issues when I want to send pictures via MMS. Any suggestions?

Facing a strange problem since morning. Here are the sequence of incidents since mornings -

As usual I got into my car with bluetooth switched on and went to office.
I did make a couple of calls using bluetooth from my car
I reached office, and went on to work
I had kept the phone on my desk in front of me
I realized a call coming on my phone but it did not vibrate nor did it make any sound, I was surprised and kept looking at the phone
After a couple of rings, the phone automatically answered the call.
I just put the phone to my ears and started talking.. freaky, but I ignored it
After that all calls received I am finding the same behavior
I made number of calls from my office phones and the phone gets answered automatically
I checked and the sound was reduced to zero, so I made it maximum
Vibrator doesn't work anymore, even after several restarts
I tried using the hidden mode 3645#*880#, and was unsure how to go about vibrator test, the phone doesn't vibrate at all

Please suggest some workaround.

Note that since last 15 days I am facing number of weird problems most of which got solved after re-calibration using the hidden mode, so there seems to be some problem with the phone. Should I reset the phone to factory settings? I am on stock OS Android 4.1.2, never have rooted the phone

Screen won't automatically turn on when plugged in? topic

I'm installing a Nexus 7 in my car but need the screen to turn on every time it starts charging (the charger comes on when the car does).
For some reason it doesn't do it!!

I'm on stock rom (KitKat), rooted and have a paid version of Tasker so I'm pretty much open to anything.

S4 automatically adding apn how to stop topic

I have a S4 and I use foxfi/pda net quit a bit my problem is that the phone keeps automatically adding the tether apn setting from my carrier. Which then seems to add tethering charges to my bill got a big one last month without known this. Anyway to stop the phone from automatically adding the apn to the settings.

[EPRJ RIL] Calls automatically answered on speaker topic

Hi,

I'm using Paranoid Android (latest BETA3) and Mokee kernel, but this problem happened to me on EPRJ CM and on Omni too (Android 4.3) and on all other kernels too.
The thing is that all my calls get answered automatically on speaker (if someone calls me, not if I call someone), I first thought that it was an Xposed Framework problem but after deactivating it I still have the bug. I also thought it could be a Viper4Android one, but without installing it, it remains.
Anyway, if you have an idea about what can be causing it please reply. If there's no way to fix it, can I install CM RIL on PA (although I prefer EPRJ RIL).
