[Q] How to backup efs folder IMEI for xperia x10 topic

Can anyone let me know how to backup efs folder or IMEI for Sony xperia x10??
I searched google but didn't found anything I'm tired since two days

I am on MJ7, rooted with Safestrap. I softbricked my phone and did the no-wipe method of restoring my phone. My root folder size used to be a total of 1.5 GB. I noticed that after restoring my phone it was .97 GB. I thought something had gone wrong so I backed up in internal memory onto my pc and did a full-wipe restore. I still have .97 GB total for my root folder. What am I doing wrong? How can I get it back to 1.5 GB?

[TUT] How to get rid of automatically created .Thumbnails folder topic

Hello, I was going through a very serious problem since days. When we have few pics in Albums, it creates cache for those pics in memory qith folder name .thumbnails
Sometimes the size of these cache is more than 1.5GB+.

This is a big issue for devices like Xperia M, with very low internal memory.

So i got a way to solve this.

For that, you will need ES File Explorer. No root is needed for this.

You have to do is follow these instructions.
1. Open ES File Explorer.
2. Make the hidden files viewable.
3. Go to DCIM folder.
4. You'll see thumbails folder, delete it.
5. Now create new file and name it as ".thumbnails" without quote.
And you are done.

Click on "Thanks" is important before going to make this thing work. :D;):beer:

[Q] Titanium Backup and folder mount topic

Hello,

I have folder mount working and in order (I paid for it to), so when I backup with titanium backup (pro) it doesn't backup the mounted folders which remain on the sd card, I tested it to see and it didn't work, Basically I backed up gta 3 which was mounted to external storage (sd card) and then uninstalled the game and then restored the game with TB which it only restored the apk and not any data, so is there anyway to backup mounted folders with TB, or do I just leave them in the sd card and restore the data separately after?

Change USB mount folder topic

Hi, I've just received my meenova sd card reader and it works perfect with my phone (although root is needed). I can mount the sd card with stickmount app but the problem is that it creates the directory in /0/usbStorage/sda and I need it to be in /0/usbStorage (without that "sda" subfolder). Is there a way to change that or another app that allows to do that? Thanks.

N7105 - / folder messed up topic

Hi, so I tried a few roms and reverted back to stock today.

I've flashed CM10. 2, aokp and MIUI.

Now I've restored my stock rom backup wiped everything and boot the phone. Everything working fine. But then I went to es file explorer and find out that the / folder is messed up...

And my internal storage is mounted in a crazy spot... I've read that cm causes the 0 bug because of the profiles. But this is different....

How can I completely format the / folder and flash back the stock rom so everything is back to normal?

[Q&T] "emulated" folder in device topic

Hi!

Last day I flashed my Note 8.0 (N5110) with Android 4.2.2 (JDQ39.N5110XXCMK1). I used the PhilZ Touch 6.07.9 and everything apparently was OK.

After I notice that a "strange" file tree structure appears: now I have in my device all the files in "/storage/emulated/0" and "/storage/emulasted/Legacy" instead of "/storage/sdcard0".

I flashed again the tablet and the result was the same... And it start to create issues with some apps.

Someone have a clue what I mess up?
How can I ensure that the files will be in the "standard" location?

[Q] Problem with Folder Mount - how to use it and fix it? topic

I have rooted Z1 with 4.3 android. I installed Folder Mount because i want use my obb files from micro sd card. I done everything in correct sentence but it dont work.
1) I am installing game ABC
2) Downloading OBB files and copy to INTERNAL MEMORY/ANDROID/OBB/ABC GAME
3) Open Folder Mount and done 3 steps to move my OBB files
4) When files finish copying it Folder Mount open in main menu, stic is white, files are moved
5) Now i am clicking on white stick to become green, when i do it i see information thet everything is done
6) When i open ABC Game it will start.
7) Exit the game , checing files and nom i have two copies of OBB files , one on micro sd and second on my phone
8) When i click on green stick to become white, one copy of the file dissapear, when i try deleted it form my phone , stick is still green but game dont work
What i do wrong or what i need to do to use Folder Mount correct?

I noticed it in my nexus 7. Opening it gives another folder, ".dmgames". There are three files with long random names in the folder. I'm not sure if its safe to delete?

Hello, I would like to ask if somboby know for what is : .eCtcQjbu1dgnvtFnvnr6yepTp1M= folder in internnal memory and SD Card?

Also, I have problem with some images....you can see the attached file....the files are brocken and not usable.(all those images are only on SD card)? What si this problem with SD Card?

I'm not sure if we have connections between the 2 questions.
