Another messed up phone topic

So, I figured with all my time off from classes during spring break that it would be a good idea to update my HTC One. It was running a rather old version of the HD rom and i assume some old version of TWRP or Clockwork.

Using Windows 7 and fastboot, I erased the cache and pushed over TWRP 2.7 then used "fastboot reboot". At the time, I was unaware of what trouble that last command would get me into. Upon further investigation, I found out that I needed to erase the cache again and use "fastboot reboot-loader". Once i sent "fastboot reboot" the phone shutdown, then made it to the boot screen and shut off I think.

At the moment all my phone will do is turn the red light off and on. If the red light is off, holding down the power button for ten seconds turns the light on. Holding down the button for three seconds turns off the light. Holding down the power button and volume down button at the same time for any amount of time does nothing.

Does anyone have ideas on how I get it to work again?

Touch is messed up topic

Doesn't anyone have a problem with the touch not responding or just random touches running on any rom 4.4.2. On 4.3 I didn't seem to have the problem, just on kitkat

[Q] PC won't find this messed up phone topic

Okay, so this is the status quo of my friends phone: HTC One M7 UL, S-On, HBOOT-1.55, TAMPERED, UNLOCKED
There is no OS instelled, I can only boot into recovery (while booting from the bootloader it starts Team Win Recovery Project v2.6.0.1, when I boot from the phone being off it opens ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.4.6) or bootloader. The internal storage is wiped. My PC is not able to install the device driver software, so I cannot put any files on the phone via USB cable. Also it appears to not be rooted, as the recoveries ask me if I want to install SuperSU. But if I accept this, nothing changes and the next time I get the same question.
All in all almost erverything on this phone is deleted and I have no idea how to put a ROM back on it to flash. Can anyone help me fix this?

I messed up! topic

hello everyone. i would like to say i think i permenatly bricked my phone. it is a D803.
i decided to flash a rom for a 802.
well all the touch functions were out of wack i had to tap middle of the screen to hit the home button ect...
so i decided to use R & D flash too and i used a 802dll and 802sea.tot file and flashed. all seemed fine until about an hour passed and it was still on LG screen flashing blue and green LED
i tried to put into download mode but it just hangs when it starts download mode where it shows the two little computers with the blue dots between them. i also tried recovery method but it just shows and android then a line of blue and restarts... then it goes to LG screen and keeps flashing blue and green. and i dont even get fastboot mode eaither........ so please can any1 help me out?? now my phone does not boot but as soon as i see the LG screen it comes up in device manger as port 13 or 41 whatever usb i put it on. but the phone is still on LG screen.
any ideas please any1

Hello,

I am unable to install busybox
it says that "it looks like the installation of busybox was not successful.." and asks to install in some other location.
I tried Xbin and Bin but it could not be installed properly.

All app which need root permission are working fine.

I tried to uninstall and re install ..re install using busybox installer.
Also I re-flash CM 10 beta 6 ( Format /System ) deleted xbin , bin directory and reflashed rom) but nothing works

Its confusing that even after deleting xbin, bin directory formatting /system reflashing CM10 yet busybox is not installing.

PS: Busybox was installed successfully on stock ROM it was for a brief period was installed successfully on CM 10 as well. But when I reflash my rom (due to some reason) and tried to install busybox since then I am having problems


Any help is appreciated.

[Q] I've really messed up my phone, can't seem to install stock ROM now topic

How can I flash a stock ROM considering I cannot boot the phone up normally in order to put the file onto the phone? The Moto G has no external storage so I can't use an SD card.

I get get into the bootloader, and I have managed to install Team Win Recovery Project but don't know what else to do!

N7105 - / folder messed up topic

Hi, so I tried a few roms and reverted back to stock today.

I've flashed CM10. 2, aokp and MIUI.

Now I've restored my stock rom backup wiped everything and boot the phone. Everything working fine. But then I went to es file explorer and find out that the / folder is messed up...

And my internal storage is mounted in a crazy spot... I've read that cm causes the 0 bug because of the profiles. But this is different....

How can I completely format the / folder and flash back the stock rom so everything is back to normal?

[Q] BML E615 - anybody messed with one yet? topic

I grabbed a couple BML E615's recently to play with since they were dirt cheap on sale (@ each) and am wondering if anyone has gotten a clean ROM built for one.

Native install is running Android 4.2.2 kernel 2.6.35.7, Quad Band, Dual SIM, MicroSD card slot, 140MB internal storage.
It seems to be a decent little device but has a number of extras installed (skype, a couple messengers, etc.) by default, and for some reason won't allow the install of OpenVPN Connect from the play store ("Your device isn't compatible with this version."), so I'm wondering if anyone has messed with one of these and gotten a clean build working (with play store of course).

For those interested (or looking for more details) go to the TMart site and search for it (I can't post links yet soo..) (FYI they took about 5 weeks to get here..it took some strange route..lol)

have LG messed up ? topic

ive been playing about with the video camera and lgs Audio Zoom and it just doesnt work, then i noticed we are missing a 3rd mic from the rear next to the camera, so basically the two mics either side (landscape view) are just acting as noise cancelling, how can LG advertise this as a feature for the lg802 when its clearly lacking the forward facing mic ?
