[Q] Recover Viber Cache from SDCARD of broken phone. topic

Hi there

My Xperai Mini Pro SK17i screen smashed and tried to change the screen but no luck.
When I connect it to the PC it just shows red light blinking once per second.

I have removed the 8GB sdcrad from it and I can see that there are viber backup in folder named VIBER on the sdcard root but it has only the images.
I have found another folder in SDCard\Android\DATA\com.viber.voip\CACHE
It has the following files (see attchment)
the biggest file is cache_vts_com.viber.voip.0 2.50MB and I guess it has the chat history.
I wonder if anyboy please tell me how to decrypt it?

Need to access web cache on stock HTC One topic

Hello, I want to access the web cache of the default web browser to access a particular html file that has some information I need. I did some digging around and it seems the cache is not accessible through file explorer apps unless the device is rooted.

Is there any way I can either pull the cached files over ADB (without root) or root the device (even temporarily) without wiping the device. I'm running stock everything with the latest OTA updates.

TWRP Backup - cache, recovery topic

Hi all.

I've been doing backups of my Nexus 5 with TRWP. I chose all options, that is I added 'cache' and 'recovery'.

Question: Is that bad? Should I not backup those?

[Q] E: Unable to mount '/cache' topic

I just updated to TWRP 2.6.3.4 on my Sprint HTC One, in order to flash KitKat, and the corrisponding CyanogenMod Nightly's, but in doing so I wiped everything off my phone. So now I can get into TWRP, but have no ROMs to flash... I tried sideloading, which didn't work, so then I just used adb push to get my files into data/media, which worked.

Now Im trying to flash the .zip files for KK and CM11; KK flashes just fine, but when it gets to CM11, it gives me errors like:

I've tried flashing KK before CM11, and after CM11; but no matter how I do it, it fails on CM11.

Anyone know whats wrong with my phone? How do I fix this so that it'll flash CM11, or any KK ROM?

Any help would be great, as my phone is useless right now...

I have a storage issue. I cannot move as much to my SD card as I would like. I recently installed Beans22, and Alliance AOSP contacts. I have stuff backed up and such, but now I have only 1.48Gb left of phone HD space. I have a 64Gb card. If I clean up the install and download caches, I can free like 6Gb of space.

My question is this:
If I clean this, will I lose anything?

Cache /tombstones topic

What are all the files I see in the /cache /tombstones folder? Can I delete them?
