[Q] OMNI ROM troubles topic

Alright.... I dont have enough posts to put this in the development thread. I took the omni rom ota update and like a few people my phone rebooted to the invalid software please take this phone to a verizon store..... I odined back to stock and eventually got things back to normal or so I thought. Now it seems that anytime I am on an aosp based rom my signal is borked. When I am on a touchwiz rom everything seems fine. It does seem to want to go to global under mobile networks and my singal strength seems way lower than normal also the connection seems much slower. So i odined back to stock again and backed up the apns went back to liquid and restored apns. That didn't work. I can receive and make calls no problem. I can receive sms and mms. If i go into mobile settings and change it from global to LTE then turn on and airplane mode it will send messages for maybe a minute then it cuts back out. I am assuming my next step is to get a new sim card. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate some input. I have been searching this and other sites since the 24th when I took the ota and have had no luck. I have been on this site and fiddling with my androids since the original droid. I didn't think I was a total noob but this has me stumped.
I am on MDK and my IMEI seems fine I actually Just noticed my IMEISV says "00". So help please!

Hello good people of XDA I just cant seem to make a ROM
using @dsixda 's Android Kitchen for my I337M!

I had the kitchen working for my S3,
Tried with S4 and it wouldn't boot up.

Restored my entire computer, fresh
installed the kitchen / cygwin.

Tried again, same results.. No booty.
Used another 'updater-script'.. No booty.

I have searched and searched, tried everything
I can, but nothing works, none of my ROMs boot.
Was hoping someone here might have an idea of
what I am doing wrong?

I'm on Verizon so I upgraded to the KVT49L. But now when I install any kernels my CM11 just hangs on the boot screen

SMS Troubles - Can Send but Cannot Receive topic

Hi all. I am not on AT&T so I apologize for posting here but I wasnt sure where else to seek help. Hopefully someone may have an idea.

I recently got a phone on the Pelephone network in Israel. It is a Galaxy S3.

I am able to send SMS texts with no problem. I am also able to receive texts from other phones in Israel no problem.

For the first day or two everything went OK but then suddenly I stopped receiving texts from my friends in the US. They receive mine, but I cannot receive theirs.

My company tried diagnosing this with carrier. They insist everything should work. All the right plans are activated, etc. They even swapped out the SIM. After that the SMS worked fine again for about a day, and then, like last time, stopped working...so people in the US can still receive mine, but I cannot receive their replies anymore.

They are replying in the same way as in the past (replying to my text) so it did work...it just stopped.

I have tried a factory reset which didnt help.

Any ideas?

[Q]Ematic Eglide Prism rom troubles topic

I have an Ematic Eglide Prism. The tablet originally came with Android 4.0, but due to a mistake my friend made the tablet quit working (which is why I now own it). I managed to fix it by using LiveSuite to flash a stock image (Cyclone Astro+ 4.2) and it works, aside from the tablet not rotating automatically. So I decided to try to install an AOKP and CM10 rom I found for A10 processors onto it. However this did not work, and both roms get stuck at the boot animation with the same errors. (I'll post them after my next attempt to fix the issue) The errors say something along the lines of the dalvik-cache missing. So I tried to create it only to find that /data was "read-only". Using the mount command via adb shell revealed that data wasn't even mounted, on either rom. I've been trying everything I could think of to get these roms to work, but the only one that seems to work is the stock Cyclone Astro+ rom that is flashed via LiveSuite.

Anyone have any ideas?
