[Q] FiOS Devices and changing ROMs topic

Any experience with registering a mobile device with FiOS and then changing ROMs? They have a ridiculous policy wherein you can only have 4 devices and they can only be changed twice in a calendar year.

I'm wondering if I change my ROM will it de-register my device.
