[Q] Loss of WIFI using backup stock ROM topic

I have installed safestrap on my Kindle Fire HDX 7 and backed up the stock ROM to Rom slot 1. However, when I am using the backed up Stock ROM I can get no WIFI connection. There is nothing wrong with the router which is only a few feet away from the Kindle. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks
