I've been helping a friend with her Tab 2 p5110 (Wi-Fi model).
Late last year I rooted it and installed CyanogenMod (10.1.3 Stable).
It's much better than the bloated original rom, however one of her primary uses of the tablet was to watch TV shows from catch-up apps, now of which at least one isn't working.
It's Plus7 - that of the Seven Network in Australia.
It says something about it not working on rooted or modified devices for copyright reasons.
I may not have searched enough of properly, but I was wondering if there's any way you can trick the app into believing it's using the original firmware, or rights restrictions it requires to work properly, on a rooted device?
