[Q] noob question regarding reverting to an older version topic

Hi there,

I'm kinda embarassed to ask, cause I think this MUST have been answered already - but seriously, I can't find it >.<
the latest nightlies (3/25) caused my find5 to be unable connect to any Wifi networks (it found the networks, but wasn't able connect..),
so i wanted to check if I messed sth up, or if it was just the nightly and decided to revert to an older version. However in doing so
I think i messed up a lot since some apps were displayed at beeing not installed, the play store didnt display any apps, not even the ones
installed ect... (wifi was working again btw.)
What I did was wiping cache, dalvik, system and flashing the older version downloaded from the omni rom website and wiping dalvik/cache again.
The uninstalled apps (which were still displayed) and the weird play store persisted when i went back to 3/25.

Where did I mess up? .. Sorry to bother.

[Q] installing Go SMS latest over older version topic

i have installed cracked version of go sms older version, now i uninstalled and trying to install the latest version, but i am unable to install. i lost the older version setup too.. how to install the new version?

Trying to find an older stock sense rom based on 4.1.1 or older topic

So I got a good deal on a galaxy s3 and now I'm getting ready to give the one s to a 50 something year old man who isn't great with technology. He's been using an HTC desire on stock 2.2 for over 3 years now and it's been almost rock solid dependable for him.

I don't want his new phone glitching out on him cause he won't really understand. I spent a few hours today after downgrading to 2.15 hboot and tried 4 different roms and had each one glitch out on me in some way within an hour of use except official cm11 but I only spent maybe 40 minutes with it before making a backup and trying the 3 other roms all 4.4.2 roms.

I'm starting to think I probably can't depend on any of them except an official 4.1.1 or older rom to be reliable enough but now I can't find any working download links for the older roms.

Anyone think they can help? I would give him this one cause it's still stock and keep the one s myself but he doesn't like anything this big and I personally like the s3 size.

Downgrade to older bootloader / rom topic

I think that my nexus 7 became more and more slow when installing new android updates. So I want to give it a try and flash a 4.1 rom, just for curiosity.. I can find older roms but I can't find older version of bootloaders. Is there any dedicated thread with older downloadable version of bootloaders? Can I extract those from factory images?
So far I learned that to downgrade I have only to flash an older bootloader and then the older rom. Is that correct? Thanks for the help.

eff Motorola - Got invitation for Motorola Feedback Network survey for older phones topic

I just got a MFN survey for their older Moto phone users I guess. It has been more than a year since I unceremoniously ditched Motorola Droid X2 and went for a much better phone the Dinc2 and now I am on the Dinc4G LTE. I don't need this s#$t anymore. But what should I do? It is very tempting to go for it and give them crap feedback. Or just opt-out?
