[Q] AOSP or CM variant suggestion topic

i've been using stock roms for the past 2 months. have gotten away from using any aosp or cm based rom. i am looking to play with one but i dont want to have to install 5 different roms to come up with a conclusion. so i'm hoping someone can answer this question. is there any aosp or cm rom right now that runs without force closes or random reboots or the call echo bug? if so, are you using the stock kernel with the rom or are you using one of the flashable kernels? i have a d800. please dont answer because you have a favorite rom but it has one of the mentioned issues. when i was using the aosp/cm roms before they had these issues. if none of the roms are without any of these issues then i'll just stick with the stock roms.

Battery life on 4.3 suggestion of a factory reset? topic

I know the thread of battery life has been discussed several times, I even tried to write to Samsung support and their answer pretty much has been "try to make a factory reset and let us know if things are still crappy".
Now, since obviously I've not a rooted phone and I cannot make a full backup with titanium, I'm quite reluctant resetting everything with the perspective of seeing no improvement on this particular aspect.
So my questions are:
Have any of you that had been affected by poor battery performances already attempted it after updating to 4.3 OTA and have you seen the phone getting back to the battery life it had under 4.1.2 or it hasn't had any effect?

As last resource, given that I don't care about warranty and knox counter, is there any chance of rooting and installing a new recovery and ROM without them being messed up by knox (maybe some sticky guide to it that I haven't noticed)?

S-View Tweaks? (Suggestion) topic

I was just wondering I enjoy the functionality of a third party S-View cover that I purchase and thought if anyone has been able to make some sort of tweaking to the S-View feature. For example, the S-View missed text message notification makes you open the samsung messages app when my default is Chomp Sms. I was thinking maybe there is a way to change the sms app to whichever one a user wants or also change the default phone app for an app such as dial one. I've looked around everywhere and seeing that this is an awesome phone and this forum has awesome developers and people maybe making this suggestion will be helpful for some.

Which Thread Might I Make an App Suggestion to Developers? topic

I would like to suggest an app to Developers. I know this is the wrong thread but I don't know the right one. I was going to suggest a live weather wallpaper app in which you could choose your own background. I love live weather wallpaper but hate the corny pictures they use as backgrounds. I'd prefer a real photo of my own area in the background for their clouds, snow etc or just show the sky and no land background at all.

Suggestion for Multi-Window topic

I love the new ideas for MW. I have a suggestion, if you swipe up (or left in portrait) the bottom app replaces the top one and left or right would remove it from the stack. It would be consistent with the card ui. Also I'm a fan of halo as a notification manager, but I don't like the floating window for multi-tasking. Would it be difficult to open the notification in multi-window instead?
