Cheap Flip cover! topic

I found this on ebay and couldn't stop myself from ordering. The official version is 29.99 and this one is 3.25 figured worth a shot. Not sure if this has the magnet built into the cover though which is a major selling point for the official version. I sent a message to the seller but haven't heard back yet. I will update this post with some photos and a review once I get it! It's coming from Hong Kong so it will be about 1-2 weeks... :(

No reception after removing the back cover of HTC One x topic

Hello,

I am using a HTC one x unbranded. I have recently removed the back cover just to look inside(i know i am stupid, Shouldn't have done that).

But anyway after placing the back cover safely and cautiously i can't seem to get my sim card registered (which i used before perfectly in this phone ) due to poor reception in my opinion.

The other thing is when i go to the city where the network tower is located my phone seem to be working fine. better reception.

I have tried many things. I looked inside the phone again to make sure i haven't damaged anything and also tried a different sim card and i did reset the phone as well. Nothing seemed to help me so far.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

[DIY] S-View cover topic

Since I dont have that much money to buy overpriced S-View cover (), I decided to make it myself.
Thanks to Rovo89 and MohammadAG for the xposed module so I can make use the cover with only magnet and no ID chip.
This will need ROOT for the Xposed.

Note the silver part inside the white small square stuff in the right lower part is magnet.
And make sure its shielded by metal sheet outside so it wont activate the SView when you flip it under the back of the phone.

You only need small weak magnet to activate the SView (2mm x 2mm).
Dont use strong magnet as it will damage the screen.
The magnet will rest over the lower left of the screen when the cover is closed.

The rest is mica, glue, and cheap flip cover.

S-view cover working with Google play music? topic

Hey guys, just purchased my note 3, and I'm coming from the GNex. I picked up the S-view cover with it and I'm just wondering if you can have Google play music work with the cover without being rooted? All I get is Samsung music. Also, does anyone else have a recommendation for a better keyboard? I don't necessarily like the Samsung one.

[Q] MOTO G Flip Cover ON/OFF topic

I have been trying various ROM's on my wife's Moto G. But none of then correctly sense the Motorola Flip cover. All ROM's turn on the phone ON when the cover is opened,but none turn the Moto G OFF when the cover is closed.

Can this be added to a "TODO" list, or is there a way that I can add this functionality myself?

Stock music player work only on S View Cover topic

I have a strange problem. I purchased my GN3 15 days ago. Since then I was using S View cover. 2 days ago I updated to Kitkat.via OTA. I decided to switch to normal back cover. To my astonishment it is not allowing to open the music player.:confused:
It won't work even when there is no cover at all:(
Anybody facing this?
Please try and let us know.

Smart cover problem!!! topic

Hi Guys, my friend updated his note 3 to 4.4.2 and now his smart cover not working cuz it's not from Samsung, and he want to downgrade to 4.3 to use it or is there any way to make it work on 4.4.2 ???

Aftermarket cover case will not work on Samsung 4.4.2 topic

I am reading multiple reports from Korean Note 3 users that after their update to 4.3, their aftermarket flip covers do not work.

Is it really true? Anyone can confirm it?
