[Q] Will flashing AT&T One to T-Mobile ROM bring full functionality? topic

Hi all! First post here, I've read through pages and pages of forum posts looking for an answer but haven't found one so I thought I would ask a quick question.

I have an AT&T One that I recently unlocked, I then left AT&T for T-Mobile and am having issues with MMS sending/receiving and Mobile Hot spot. Everything else is functionality. T-Mobile says they can't help, HTC says they can't help.

As a result I was thinking I flashing it with a T-Mobile ROM.

Do you think it will help?

I wanted to confirm before I start digging more into how to flash it.

Thanks in advance,
Paulgyro

[Q] need to bring a file to the phone, no ROM installed topic

I've attempted to flash a newer version of cyanogenmod on my phone (10.1.3 to 11). I'm using TWRP 2.6.1.0
I can not boot because I've wiped the phone (dalvik, system, data, internal storage, cache), and I suspect the ROM I have is corrupted but I can't connect it to my computer and transfer the file via USB because I have no ROM installed and can not boot. I also can't take the SD card (since there's non) and put the file that way.
My phone is Oppo find 5

My root file flashing was successful, but installation of the ROM cm-11-20140204-NIGHTLY has failed. I assume the file was corrupted, but I have no way to find out what it is.
I now realize my mistakes, like wiping the system unnecessarily.

Is there any way to get another file on the device? any other suggestions?

Also, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I was not able to find the right place. I apologize in advance.

Eyal,

[Theme] [CM11] Bring back some Holo Blue topic

You dont like the bright white icons in KitKat's system status area? You don't like them either in quicksetting and you hate the new pale orange that can be seen there? You want back some of good old Android Holo Blue?

Here's the solution:

This Theme Chooser Theme brings back some of our beloved Holo Blue to CM11 (should also work for the other major KitKat Custom ROMs as far as they implement Theme Chooser. The specific icons are already included in my theme!).

It's a minimalistic theme. It only themes the system status area and the quicksettings.

Back to holo blue are:
  • Signal, WiFi, Bluetooth (when connected), Clock and Battery icon in system status area. Here I use the brightest possible version #39CAFF for better contrast on the transparent status bar and because the icons get reduced in brightness by the system when displayed on a black status bar.

  • Signal, WiFi, Bluetooth and Chromecast in Quicksettings. Here they turn to standard Holo Blue #33C5E5, when fully connected.

All bright white icons in these areas where reduced in brightness to the standard Jellybean level #CCCCCC.

All icons stay original KitKat. They only got carefully color and alpha channel tuned by me.
The new scheme in quicksettings with outlined dark grey icons when inactive and bright filled icons when active stays untouched. Only the above mentioned icons turn blue, when a full connection is established.

Icons for RTL languages are also included.

Knowns issues: Battery and clock color only get changed in newer nighlies of cm11. There is a bug in CM11 regarding the circle battery. The grey (infact it's translucent white) full ring is actually drawn over the indicator ring segment instead as an underlay. This makes the color of the ring look brighter and less saturated. I already opened an issue on CM11 bugtracker. Hope they fix it soon.

Installation: Download and install the APK. Go to Settings/Themes and activate it - voilà - you get back some Holo Blue.
