s3 stuck on splash screen and can't access recovery topic

Hello guys, I have an International S3.

I tried flashing CyanogenMod (it was rooted) through the steps provided on other threads. When I tried to flash it through CWM, I recieved an error, status 7.

I read I had to flash Philz recovery through Odin and flash the .zip file through there and now I can't access recovery through the three-button combo or access the phone, as it is stuck in the splash screen. I dont know what to do.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I can acess Download Mode. Using the three-button press for Recovery Mode just vibrates and is stuck in a black screen.

Samsung Logo Splash Screen and Keeps rebooting topic

Hi,
Two days ago I got the official update of jelly beam 4.3 to my Samsung galaxy s3. Today morning I switched on the phone its worked fine. But after 2 hours suddenly my phone was restarted and Samsung Logo Splash Screen (Samsung galaxy S3 GT-I9300T) and Keeps rebooting. So I remove the battery and insert it after a few second. After that the phone worked fine and again the same problem happened.
If I remove the battery, phone switch off. And if I insert the battery, phone switch on itself and keep restarting.
I try to open the (Home + Volume Up+ power ON) button option. But is not working. If I plug the phone to charge, gray battery shows and again restarting to charge…. (I mean, phone won’t stay in a stage).
So can you please let me know it’s a software problem or hardware problem?
If it’s a software how fix it ? ( I tried the emergency firmware recovery through kies, but kies couldn’t fine my phone)

[Q] Flashing splash screen (shows image of snow) topic

So I was trying to flash the splash screen when I accidentally didn't rename it from the png file to an img file. Now whenever I boot the phone it shows an image of snow and then the bottom is black. I'll try to take a picture later, but did I mess up my phone for good? When I try to flash other .img files it still gives me that snow/black splash screen.

Black HTC ICS Blue Splash Screens topic

Inspired by gersto's Black HTC Bootscreen/Bootanimation thread
I basically just changed the HTC font to ICS blue instead of the company color green.
The image was sharper/cripser...but when I resized to 480x800 it blurred.
Maybe i'll get it sorted out, but as for now, it doesn't look bad on the phone.

Instructions: Rename to PG32IMG.zip. Place on root of SD card. Start phone by holding power button and volume down at the same time. When it prompts to update, volume up for yes and then power button to reboot.

Just curious, so I don't brick my device. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2317202 Here is the thread I'm asking about since we don't have one going for our device, maybe others who are looking for these can use them as well?

[Q] All ROMS hang at the HTC splash screen topic

I managed to unlock root and install TWRP recovery.
Before and after flashing the ROM i even tried to flash the boot.img file by "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
No matter what ALL ROMS hang at the splash screen.
These are the ROMS i tried:
Viper - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1868236
Clean ROM -
Android Revolution

Kinda getting frustrated, HTC desire was not that hard to root and flash, not sure why the one X is taking the breath outta me.

HTC One X:
Unlocked
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT 0.32.0000
CPLD-None
MICROP-None
RADIO-None
eMMC-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode: disabled

[Q] S4 Powers off after android splash screen - any options other than factory wipe? topic

Or at least i think its powering off - i punch in my encryption passcode, it goes to android splash screen, then zip...

I have been looking at other threads and searching (this forum is huge!) but not yet found an answer, certainly not one where i dont factory wipe.

The phone was on the official optus 4.3 firmware

What i did was I used Odin 1.85, and the appropriate CF auto-root from here (cant link yet, not enough posts)

Powered off the thing, took battery out for over an hour, twice, still the same

Just trying to re-root the phone so i can back it up again, it had been a while since using Titanium

Follow the typical instructions, seemed to go fine, it just gives me the green android screen for about two seconds after encryption key is put in and always goes off

I wiped the cache too, and i flashed the current firmware again using odin (Aus OPTUS 4.3 official) - still the same.

Anyone got any ideas for me>?

Splash Screens topic

Hey Everybody,

I know there are a few splash screen threads, but I didn't want to bombard somebody else's thread with the amount of images and download links I'm about to post. I've put together a little over 100 of my favorites. They're all generic, without any added text; however, they're all completely customize-able upon request. If you'd like your name or your favorite ROM's name added to any splash screen, just ask.
Disclaimer:

I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone. If you brick your phone, it is not my fault. Doing anything to your phone involving flashing runs the risk of ruining your device.

Instructions:

Rename zip file to flashthisimage.zip.
Reboot into preferred recovery.
Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
Flash zip.
I always like to wipe cache and dalvik cache again because I'm a little compulsive.
Reboot.
Enjoy!
Notice:

I've come to realize that these splash screens do not play nicely with dkp kernel. I would not recommend flashing over these kernels as it results in a glitch screen, then boot loop city. Has been tested on stock kernel and ktoonzes TW and Aosp kernels.

Now for the fun part...
Each image will have a number that correlates with it's zip.
Maximum upload per post is only 16 zips, and 60 images so check posts below for more links and screenshots!
