Downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 No wifi afterwards topic

So I don't know how I managed to do it but I went from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 this evening. I guess I got lucky lol

I had a CWM backup from september (Found burried on my home server). I flashed that and was surprised that it took. The Only thing that didn't take was the baseband. I noticed that stayed at FNB4.

So here I was with the OS being 4.2 with a 4.4 modem. I was perplexed but I figured if I can get the OS downgraded there had to be a way to downgrade or at least erase / reinstall the baseband. So I tried TWRP's advanced erase/format options several times, I did nand erase all in odin, I flashed the modem file seperately and basically did everything I could think of to erase and rewrite everything I could.

I'm not sure if this helps but there it is.

My question is this. Now that I'm back on stock firmware with MDL baseband, I have no WiFi. Should I do a factory reset and hope the baseband doesn't update? Is there a way around a factory reset to fix wifi?
