Is it a battery issue topic

Frends battery on my note lasts only 2 hours with full brightness. ?.is this normal or a issue. ? On low brightness it lasts for around 8 hours. ?.I just learn my notes in s note app....It's in power saving mode with no connectivity option ON..
It gets hot too... Close to camera. .I even use s memo while reading.
