[Q] Need Help, Want to safely root GTN-7105 without tripping knox topic

Greetings fellow Android Users! Hope you are doing fine wherever you are. I have been following this forum for quite sometime now and decided to write this new thread because i am in need of help. I am new to android having changed from blackberry a few months back and decided to get the Galaxy Note II GT-N7105. For the past few weeks, i have been thinking whether or not to root my phone to get better customisation of your device but is afraid of tripping the warranty with KNOX. I would not think twice if i surpassed my warranty period but i've only gotten this phone for about 5 months and it really got me thinking. I am residing in HongKong now and purchased my phone from there. I did some research on this forum and came across this thread: " http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2618261 " and would like to ask a few questions regarding this matter.

Android Version : 4.3
Baseband version : N7105ZHEML1
Build Number : JSS15J.N7105ZHUENA1

I want to know if any of you GT-N7105 (Hong Kong Phones or any other) users have successfully rooted your device without Tripping KNOX, hence does not void the warranty, using the method on the thread i posted above or any other method? And also, If you have successfully rooted your device, do you recommend installing a custom recovery like Philz Touch in order for you to flash a Rom? Will you be able to also update the latest software from OTA (Samsung official) if they released it? Or you have to manually do that?
