[Q] Prevent time from going back to 1970??? topic

I'm setting up my Ion so that I can transfer all my apps to it. However, right now with a fully charged battery, the phone on all the time, no SIM card and "Automatic Date and Time" in Settings unchecked, the time goes off and the date keeps resetting to February 14, 1970.

I don't want to move to this phone to find out it can't keep time. Any help would be appreciated!
