Samsung note 3 and facebook topic

I just got a att note 3 and I went to the app manager and disabled some of the bloat apps and now my Facebook notifications doesn't work but my mail and sms does? Is there something I could have disabled for facebook? I even deleted Facebook and reinstalled and nothing. Thanks...
