[Q] Unable to flash ROM topic

I downloaded the Beanstalk KitKat ROM today and planned to install it to replace Jellybean. I copied the ROM zip and gapps to the internal storage, unplugged the phone and rebooted into recovery. I wiped the cache and data, but when I went to install the ROM zip it wouldn't work; it returns an error of "set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed" with a status of 7. Before I rebooted into Android to re-copy the files over, assuming something went wrong in the copy process, CWM prompted me saying that I might have lost root and whether or not it should fix it. I hit yes. Now, I cannot reboot back into Android. The phone hits the HTC loading screen, reboots, and then ends up back at CWM.

Is there any way I can get a ROM zip on my phone so that I can fix this? Or is my phone essentially bricked?

Any help is appreciated.

[Q] [ROM] Searching for most stable No-Sense one (HBOOT 2.15) topic

Hello XDA,

after more than one year flashing recent ROMs over at „Development“ I'm searching for a real stable one without Sense-UI for HBOOT 2.15. At the moment I'm running CyanogenMod Stable 10.2, but I get alot of reboots when using Google Maps. Don't know wether this is an problem with GMaps or GPS in general. I also encountered this problem with previous versions of Cyanogen Mod and some unofficial forks. Supe-CID, S-Off and various firmware-updates or out of reach as the tutorials on XDA don't work for me and I'm not capable of solving these problems myself.

The ROM doesn't have to be the latest version of Android or even with active development, as long as it might work well on my phone. Just sick of constant reboots ;).

I' using M7_U (801e) CID HTC_058
Out of the factory, it had HBOOT 1.54 and Firmware version 2.24.1136.2.

I SuperCID'd, and flashed 4.19.401.8 Firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2627416

and now with HBOOT 1.56.
And currently with ViperOne 4.3 Rom.

The situation is I'd like to have Stock 4.19.901.8 ROM
(not for warranty return, just to taste the Stock KitKat Rom
I'll still want my phone with BL Unlocked and SuperCID'd.)

Then how do I have to do to have Stock 4.19.401.8 Rom?

[Q] can't detect new wifi signals topic

Since one or two months my HTC one can't detect new wifi networks. It only connects/finds the ones I already have saved. Does anyone have had the same issue? I already did a hard reset, but now I can't find any networks since everything is whiped!
