Coming to att or t-mobile? topic

I'm on att and thinking about wanting to upgrade to this although att now locks bootloaders so I'd like to pick up a t-mobile version if possible. Will this phone come to either carrier?

The New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Coming out soon topic

Hey guys,

I am new to this forum, I have this video about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 please watch and let me know of what you think of the new note 4 coming out soon?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qctj9Q2jLhg

The video explains what we know till now. this video is based on "magazines interpretation and information that was collected from trusted sources that leaked information about the Samsung note 3 before" in fact at CES 2014, the head of studio for the Samsung design Dennis Miloseski, said that the Samsung galaxy Note 4 will arrive sometime in the fall coming up 2014 so I am really looking forward to it !

Thanks!

[Q] Nexus 5 advice from someone coming from carrier-specific device topic

I never owned a Nexus device and have always purchased a phone from the carrier, like Verizon HTC Thunderbolt, AT&T Galaxy Note and S4 Active. These carrier devices have bloatware and restrictions, not to mention manufacturer skins. I want to get the Nexus 5 for the pure experience of Google UI and no restriction.

Thus, I have some question for those who bought the N5 directly from Google (My understanding is that if you bought it from, say T-Mobile, it'll have T-Mobile ROM):

1). Is there any tethering restriction?

2). Does it works with BOTH T-Mobile and AT&T 4G LTE? In the past, I believe, the N4 only have 3G for T-Mobile but 4G for AT&T

3). Any apps that drain the battery? Carrier specific bloatware have tons of apps that kills battery and I cannot disable all of them or it'll crash the UI.

4). Speaking of battery, all devices I had before have removable battery. AFAIK, N5 have worse battery due to the small battery size, regardless of use. What do you guys use for a SMALL yet pocketable external battery?
PS: On my S4 Active, I use stock ROM and have 2nd external battery. It's small enough I just put it in my wallet. Furthermore, I use the phone extensively (4 hours screen time in 8 hours, 3 GMail syncing, 1 GCalendar syncing, etc) but I still have 30% battery by the 8th hour.

RocketTab Mod (coming soon) topic

Hey guys I hope you have the RocketTab rom because if you do than you should now that i am working on something that will blow your minds! I simply love to mod and theme and right now I am replacing images in the rockettab rom with images from cyanogenmod themes. I am using ninjamorph for this and it's taking awhile. I am going to get tempdroid in on this and if he likes it (I hope) he might just release it. Currently the theme I am pulling images from a free cm theme called miui darkness. Heres what I hope will be themed in his rom:

1. System UI
2. Play Store
3. Statusbar
4. Maybe more if I plan to

Bear in mind here that I am a senior in high school and I still have to do homework. This will take some time away but I will still try to manage it. I hope you guys will support me on this and I hope you can give me tips. I also spend time with family:)

You can check my daily updates on google+

Peace:)

[Q] Sound only coming from left speakers? topic

Hello guys, I just bought a Nexus 5 yesterday, and so far my experience with it has been amazing, except for this one problem.

The sound only seems to come from the left speaker. I started to suspect this when I first played a game (with the phone in landscape), as my right hand partially covered the left speaker grills. I immediately noticed that this muffled the sound quite a lot, and when I took my hand off, the sound played fine.

Of course, this was easily confirmed when I played a song; cover the right speakers, no change. Covering the left speakers, on the other hand, made a HUGE difference and decreased the sound a lot.

I heard about some speaker problems upon Nexus 5's release, and that software updates could do the trick. However, my Nexus came with 4.4.2 out of the box.

Does anyone have any suggestions/solutions? Thanks.
