My Gallery has suddenly decided to include individual folders for all my eBooks and Music Covers. This Ha left me with hundreds of folders with one image in each. I have Carr out a factory reset but after a few days this problem returns. Is there a fix for this problem? Many thanks in advance.

From scrapbook to gallery? topic
When I select an area of the screen with the S-pen lasso, I can copy the image to the scrapbook.
However, this image doesn't show up in the gallery. (When I do a whole screen capture, it does show up there).
Is there any way to make the image captured show up in some folder on the gallery?
The reason I ask is that I'd like to import these images into Papyrus, and the image importer there only allows a limited number of apps to choose the image. One of them is gallery, so if Icould make the scrap appear in the gallery, that would solve my problem. Or, maybe there is some other app that works with Papyrus. For now, the best I found is exporting the scrap to Dropbox, and then pasting from Dropbox - a bit too coomplicated...

Suddenly Empty Gallery topic
Hi all,
yesterday, out of the blue, I had this problem: any gallery app won't find any image. for example, Motorola Gallery prompts me to snap a photo with the camera. If I do so, the picture I've just taken is shown in the gallery, but just that one, even if it is saved in the SAME folder as the older ones.
What should I do?
I've already tried to:
Now I'm copying everything from the phone, then I'll delete all the image folders and copy them back.
MotoCare suggested to perform a Factory Reset, which I won't do
Any ideas?
Thanks

I've already tried to:
- Reinstall Motorola Gallery
- Install another gallery
- Reboot the phone in safe mode (I've asked MotoCare and I've been told to do this, but in safe mode the launcher keeps crashing and I can't do anything)

[Q] How do I get Browser to open Video links in Gallery? topic
First, I'm a n00b by any stretch of the imagination.
Recently flashed back to Rogers Rooted Stock ROM from liquidsmooth. With liquidsmooth I was able to click on a video (mostly mp4) link in the Browser or Facebook and have the video open in Gallery, no problems. Now, I can't watch the videos. The link will attempt to download the file and the download will inevitably fail. Tried the Firefox and Dolphin browsers, which were able to download successfully, but the downloaded files won't even play.
This seems like it may be a couple of different issues compounded.
What can I do? Is there a way to simply install the Browser that was included in the liquidsmooth build I was using and use it in the stock ROM?

I'm really not sure if this question is okay, so for the moderators, kindly make the right action if this is incorrect. anyways, here is my query.
my friend has "Cherry Mobile Apollo" (Here in the Philippines) which runs on android 4.2.1, and his gallery app was somewhat amazed me, why?

Snapit Camera & Seeit Gallery topic
If your not on touchwiz.. "which most of us arent lol" this is an awesome camera replacement.. and I think its even better than the stock camera even if you are on TW.. I figured id post this for everyone to easily find..
Lenovo's Super Camera consists of two applications: SNAPit Camera and the SEEit Gallery, both of which are installed through a single file:
Super Camera Download Link:
https://db.tt/rZH7pkWq
Using the Super Camera:
In the viewfinder, you'll find icons for camera settings, effects, flash, switch camera, shutter, and camera type. You'll also see several indicators, notifying you if whether or not specific settings are enabled.
Zooming in keeps with the style of most other camera applications, with a pinch-to-zoom feature for up to 4.1x
Shooting Modes:
To access the different shooting modes, tap on the circle icon with a triangle in the middle, which will bring down a scrollable side menu consisting of:
Panorama - captures elongated fields of view
HDR - reproduces a greater dynamic range of luminosity
Low Light - better looking pictures in low light/nighttime
PIP - picture in picture
Burst - hold down the shutter to take many pictures quickly (freezes, might not work for you)
Speech picture - lets you save 9 second of audio with any picture
Night portrait - takes better portrait pictures in low light
Beautify - softens facial features, making you "prettier"
Self-timed - automatically takes picture when it recognizes a human face
Smile - takes picture when it recognizes a smile
Macro - takes better close up pictures
Timed picture - timer for 3, 5 and 10 seconds
Self-timed seeks out human faces and when it recognizes one, it takes a picture. The feature worked extremely well, recognizing faces in split seconds.
Macro is another feature that works exceptionally well. The camera takes very detailed close ups
Effects:
In Effects (small icon with wand and stars), you'll find three different types: Lens, Magic and Color.
SEEit Gallery:
In the gallery you'll find Photo and Album, with the former segregating pictures by timestamp into building blocks of various sizes and the latter showing your photos by album.
After selecting a picture, you can cut, rotate, share, or edit it by adding filters after-the-fact, as well as applying "beautify" and adding circular or line blurs to the photo.
Tapping on the pinwheel in the upper right hand corner will let you access the following:
Lenono SNAPit - camera
Facial Effects - beautify by messing with facial features
GIF - create GIFS
Puzzle - create collage
Settings:
Options such as resolution, image quality and save location (external or internal memory).
Advanced settings include white balance, stroscopic (auto, 50Hz, 60Hz), touch control shot, light metering, camera animations, volume key selection, and focus mode.

Screen auto dimming in video player /YouTube, Gallery / topic
Hello. Does anyone else have got screen auto dimming even when "intelligent back light" option Is disabled in screen settings. I'm on international B111 firmware. It's very annoying for me... Maybe there is some kind of tweak in build.prop to disable this functionality.

[Q][PORT] Moto X and Moto G new gallery apk? topic
Hello, i have seen that the gallery apk for moto devices have been updated and it looks awesome! may anyone port it? thanks!
Motorola Gallery app updated topic
An update to the Motorola Gallery app was just released on the play store. It is for 4.4 users only. So far it appears it might be a decent update to the Gallery app.
It is very encouraging to see the constant improvements from the Motorola engineering team on the various apps that make the Moto X the great experience that it is. Keep up the great work!
