now can not install whatsapp + only the original
as you can fix the problem without to flash the mobile

I am using 2 devices for whatsapp app, and willing to install 2 apps on my note 2 device, Is it possible ?.

If yes please show me how.

Whatsapp was bought by fb and the next day updated version of whatsapp released that has
Option to edit privacy... it under settings--> account - - > privacy


And also new widgets


Its not on playstore but its on whatsapp site
Many people cannot download from there as it redirect to playstore

Whatsapp problem! I want to copy my chat history from my Samsung Galaxy S1 (2.3.6) to my new Nexus 5 (4.4.2).

I copied my entire Whatsapp folder to my Nexus 5 (/sdcard/Whatsapp/) and then installed Whatsapp. It asked me if I would like to recover my history chat messages. After clicking yes it started recovering but after 10-20 seconds it shuts down and an error message comes forward saying that Whatsapp had stopped working. I tried it multiple times.

When looking in my System Log file it says that it has something to do with SQLite. These are some lines in the Log file concerning Whatsapp:

1. "E/DefaultDatabaseErrorHandler (3784): Corruption reported by sqlite on database: /data/data/com.whatsapp/databasesmsgstore.db"


2. "E/AndroidRuntime (3784): java.lang.AssertionError: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabaseCorruptExcep tion: Database disk image is malformed (code 11), SQLiteConnection.java,-2"


3. "E/SQLiteLog (3784): (14) cannot open file at line 30191 of [00bb9c9ce4]"


4. "E/SQLiteDatabase (3784): Failed to open database '/data/data/com.whatsapp/databases/msgstore.db' "


5. "E/SQLiteDatabaseException: unknown error (code 14): Could not open database"

Hi guys,

I have been having issue on receiving my voice messages through speaker. However when I click the play button, the screen went blank (black) but just the back button to the conversation. The volumn of the message was so soft that I couldn't hear it. However, when I plugged in the headset, the message was played normally without screen went blank and everything. I hope someone can help me in this matter. Thanks.

Copy WhatsApp tot another phone? topic

my Xperia Z cracked so I bought a Nexus 5.
I use whatsapp a lot and I want it installed on my Nexus 5 but in order for it to work I need to send a text tot my phone. the problem is that my new sim will arrive in 2 weeks. Can I somehow copy whatsapp from my Z tot my Nexus and keep it the same as I left it on my Z, andere skip the verification? both are rooted. I tried titanium backup and copied the files from my Z tot the Nexus and tried tot install it, but I got an parse error or something?

Hi everyone... may be i am asking a silly question but plz help me.... As we all know when we install whatsapp it creates a folder in sdcard0 i.e. internal storage and that folder contains all the media shared, backups of chats etc.Now i want that whatsapp should create this folder in extSdCard i.e. external sdcard.... i am asking all this bcz i use too much of whatsapp :P and share a lot of media ;) so my memory gets full realy fast... but i have a external storage of 16GB so i want to shift this folder to my ext. storage....

how can i have message previews like in jb in the statusbar at gb? because in gb theres always only "4 messages in 2 chats" but i wanna see the message like in jb.

does anybody know how to do that?
( i want that feature in gb, cause gb ist the best for xperia u and i really need this feature, so im stuck on jb -.-)

Whatsapp crash on loading with multiuser (not owner) topic

Hi all, i have a nexus 7 2013 with 4.4.2 Android stock

I tried to install whatsapp on the tabled following many many guides on internet. At end of my experiments i understand that whatsapp crash if i install it on an user that it is not owner.

Someone else have a second user on the tablet and have a whatsapp working there?
