[Q] SIM Card Added message topic

seems any kk rom I flash other than beanstalk that I'm currently running, I'm getting this message SIM Card Added, please reboot.

[Q] Txt message sending failing after 4.4 upgrade. topic

I have a VZW GS3 and no matter what kit kat rom that I try to upgrade to from JB 4.3 I have the same problem with my texting app.
I can receive multiple text messages but I can only respond once to them. When I try to respond to the same message twice or to another message for the 1st time I get the error message that my message has not been sent. It doesn't matter what 4.4 rom I try I get the same error. However if I activate airplane mode and then de-activate it I am able to send ONE reply to ONE message. If i want to reply to any other messages I have to either reboot the phone or do the airplane mode routine that I just described. It is not a problem on any rom below 4.4. In fact I've had to go back to using a 4.3 rom so i can use my text messaging. I doesn't matter whether I use a stock messaging app or a third part app it even has the same problem when I use Google Hangouts. It doesn't affect my email and every other program in 4.4 works correctly.
Is this a radio problem. Why does it temporarily fix the problem by doing the airplane mode routine. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before,
My baseband Version is I535VRBMF1. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Error message when starting topic

was with the original rom lg. and then went instalr the recovery of the cyanogen rom manager app, and then hung up the phone and now the message appears in red at the top of the screen

"Critical Failure: Unable to start Kernel.
Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000002)"

and I can not get into download mode to install the original rom again.

and now what do I do? I lost my phone?

Whatsapp problem! I want to copy my chat history from my Samsung Galaxy S1 (2.3.6) to my new Nexus 5 (4.4.2).

I copied my entire Whatsapp folder to my Nexus 5 (/sdcard/Whatsapp/) and then installed Whatsapp. It asked me if I would like to recover my history chat messages. After clicking yes it started recovering but after 10-20 seconds it shuts down and an error message comes forward saying that Whatsapp had stopped working. I tried it multiple times.

When looking in my System Log file it says that it has something to do with SQLite. These are some lines in the Log file concerning Whatsapp:

1. "E/DefaultDatabaseErrorHandler (3784): Corruption reported by sqlite on database: /data/data/com.whatsapp/databasesmsgstore.db"


2. "E/AndroidRuntime (3784): java.lang.AssertionError: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabaseCorruptExcep tion: Database disk image is malformed (code 11), SQLiteConnection.java,-2"


3. "E/SQLiteLog (3784): (14) cannot open file at line 30191 of [00bb9c9ce4]"


4. "E/SQLiteDatabase (3784): Failed to open database '/data/data/com.whatsapp/databases/msgstore.db' "


5. "E/SQLiteDatabaseException: unknown error (code 14): Could not open database"

Hi guys,

I have problem with message auto reply when someone calling me on C1905,

my phone just automatically sending message like "im eating" or "im at work",

I didnt realize it until the one whom calls me notify me,

can someone help me to turn off this feature?

Sending message pop up. topic

Ok, so running the stock rom, Android 4.3.

Whenever I send a message with the stock messaging app, after I click send, a pop up comes up with 'sending message' which stays up until the message is sent in 3 or 4 seconds.

Is there a way to get rid of this pop up?

I'm currently using gosmspro, because when you click send message, the text goes into the conversation and it sends in the background, meaning you can send another message almost right away without waiting for the 'sending message' pop up to disappear.

Anyone else share my frustration?

I am trying to update my samsung s4 with fido. I ordered a code online and unlocked it. Never flashed , never customized, bought Directly from FIDO store so there is no chance anybody else have altered it in anyways.

RIght now whenver we try to update it , it says it has been modified and cannot update.

Searched it few steps online, tried all steps , unmounted sd card , restarted without sd card but still giving me same message.
Already tried on kies but nothing happened when connected to kies either .

i tried to send several messages which contained stuff copied from my text file stored on my computer via airdroid. after copying the text to the airdroid box, it separated the messages on several of them with maximum of 66 characters per message. thought its the airdroid which is making the problem, turned it off, and started the message beam app, beamed the text from the computer to phone, and when i pasted it to message, the counter started to count max 66 characters per message, instead of 160. there was a reboot between using airdroid and message beam.
can anyone help on this matter?
im using N5, Cataclysm 4.4.2., ElementalX0.26.

[Q] Perpetual "System UI has stopped working" message after changing boot animation topic

After changing the boot animation on my Moto X by using Matthew Pierces program Mbat my phone perpetually receives the message "unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" on startup. If I select Ok the message reappears shortly and prevents me from using my phone for more than a few seconds. When I tried to revert to stock boot animation using the program, the program tells me rm failed for /data/moodle/bootanimation.zip Any help on how to fix this???? Thanks

[Q] no developer message after unlock topic

Hello all,
I would like some info before I flash Pacman onto my phone. I have followed the instructions step by step for unlocking and rooting my phone using the HTCOneRoot videos and tutorials. Everything seems to have gone perfectly fine. When I start up in boot loader mode, it shows my phone as Unlocked and Tampered. However, when I reboot my phone, there is no red message below the HTC logo (This build is for developmental purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC...... etc etc). On the many videos i've watched, many tutorials i've read, and pictures i've seen, they all show that message.

additionally, both SuperSU and Titanium Backup work without hesitation.

Before I continue with flashing, i'd like to know if i've severely botched something or if i'm good to go. Thank you everyone.

[Q] Failed OTA Update, no specific error message topic

I'm on 4.2.2 right now, rooted and happy. I bought SuperSU Pro to get the "survival mode" option, and checked it. Now I'm trying to do the 4.3 OTA upgrade.

It downloads fine, and during the install, the android with the spinning blue globe appears, and the bar fills up about 10% of the way then the phone reboots. It refuses to update, and upon boot up it says "Software Update Failed!". No error messages, codes, or anything to search by.

Any ideas?

how can i have message previews like in jb in the statusbar at gb? because in gb theres always only "4 messages in 2 chats" but i wanna see the message like in jb.

does anybody know how to do that?
( i want that feature in gb, cause gb ist the best for xperia u and i really need this feature, so im stuck on jb -.-)

[Q] Error message on boot screen after root ? topic

Hi Guys

Could really use some help here, thought it was about time that I rooted my Note 3, I am using a SM-n9005 and was on 4.3 to start.

I followed some instructions using Odin and CF-autoroot, all went well even had a pass! in the Odin screen but now I am stuck on the loading screen with the following error messages in the left hand corner:

Recovery booting....(in blue)
Recovery is not seandroid enforcing (in red)
Set warranty bit : recovery (in yellow)

Can anyone shed some light on this ? what have I done wrong here and how can I fix it ?
