help my one mini touch is malfunctioning (not hardware) topic

I just noticed recently most times I don't get any responce when I draw down or touch the status bar but the status bar touch area works when I switch to landscape mode and the status bar works also. This started while using cm11 so I reverted back to 4.3 stock but the problem persists. Pls help me out as this doesn't seem as a hardware problem.
