I just updated my HTC One to Kitkat 4.4.2 today and find that my NFC transactions using secure element SIM card won't work :(
it obviously is because Google ditched the secure element thingy in kitkat and introduced Host Card emulation which seems to be the cause of the issue.
if i understand correctly, the provider of my secure sim should update the android app to support android 4.4, is my understanding correct about this?
Is there a way i could downgrade the NFC feature so as to keep the secure element thing working?
Any alternates / suggestions appreciated.
