SW2 Wont Connect to new phone topic

I've just got myself a new phone, a Note 3 clone (MTK6592). The watch worked fine with with my S2 and S4 clone but with this one, I switch on the bluetooth, the watch reports that it is connected and then as soon as this happens, the phone turns off the bluetooth. The watch remains on the 'connected' screen and doesn't budge from there nor does it respond to button or screen presses. I can only move away from this by rebooting the phone. Heeeelllp! The phone is running 4.1.
