service process gapps problem topic

Last friday i open youtube and a diologue box pops out that i have to update the services process gapps ( com.google.process.gapps ) to use youtube. It automatically redirect me to the store... it seems legit so i update.

Last time when i download the previous update for the service (like 6 months ago) i did the same thing: used link2sd to integrate the update into system, reset to cwm and wipe dalvik and cache. Then i used a script to odex the system... it worked without problems, but not this time...

It keep crushing a lot. It's making me crazy.

I've tried some solutions that i find in the web, like:

- Rebot and wipe dalvik - not work
- Try to erase the google acount - it cannot be done because "some apps are related to, but you can do a factory reset". Of course i wont, i have much data.

So, do you guys have any other solution?
I was going to make a nandroid backup and then install an old gapp that comes with the ROM i use.

It is safe? Or do you recomend something else.

Normal Factory Cable Process Does Not Work topic

I have searched and read a bunch and have not stumbled upon my situation.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on my use of a factory cable.
Bought a cable from SkOrPn - great guy and very helpful. We thought maybe the problem was the cable so he sent out another. TO BE CLEAR, ISSUE IS NOT WITH SkOrPn's CABLE. Both cables yield the same results.
So, here's the deal:
I have 2 KFs that where bone stock. I used KFU to root, install TWRP and FFF 1.5 Bootloader. All worked fine and I subsequently installed CM11. So all is good.
Now when I try to use the Factory Cable as instructed

Quote:

Factory cable - Using a factory cable is the most straightforward method of enabling fastboot mode on the Kindle Fire and it will work with any bootloader. With the device off, plug the cable into the Kindle Fire, then the computer and the device will boot up directly into fastboot mode. No other user intervention is required.

But when I plug the Fcable into the fire it immediately powers on and boots normally, skipping fastboot mode. This happens with or without plugging the other end into the PC.
So SkOrPn suggested I try plugging into the PC 1st and then the fire. This does boot to fastboot mode. So now I unplug the Fcable and using a "normal" cable plug the fire back into my PC. Now I get an error message saying that the USB device cannot be installed and of course KFU/ADB/fastboot does not recognize my device. So I am (or appear to be) in fastboot mode, but can't communicate with my fire. Keep in mind I have KFU working, so I know drivers are installed.
Any thoughts?
And the above is the same for BOTH fires.

Luckly I am fully rooted with FFF 1.5 and CM11, so I really dont need to use the factory cable. But I would like to figure this out BEFORE I need it!

[Q] Problem with the process google play services topic

HI, i have a big problem with my Xperia device, or at least, i think so. At the end of the day, with a non-heavy usage, the screen spend a 30% between 3 or four hours, that is good, but google play services spend the 40%, this is too much i think, and i have auto-sync off, and all this stuff, so i don’t know why it waste such a lot of battery.

[Q] Bootloop please help -Process system isn't responding topic

It all started with the plan to root the device Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I had rooted the device using Kingo Android root. This had gone successfully. Then I tried to install some apps which needs root access. I tried an app called EFS, I though I would back up EFS and NV_ *, When I clicked on backup NV_* (cant remember the whole name), thats when the problem started. It had been 2 days since I had been trying different things to recover the device.

I went into recovery mode and tried
  1. Clear cache

  2. Then Back up my data and did factory reset

  3. Between boot loops I had the opportunity to uninstalled the EFS app

  4. Then installed twrp and tried this blog http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2471421

  5. eventually, I thought of letting go of my data, so did the format of data

  6. used ODIN to and flashed this ROM from this blog http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2540822

Despite all these steps I cannot get it working.

Current phone behaviour
The phone keeps booting again, once the UI of the phone starts, I get a window of 1 min before the phone restarts again. I get a message saying "Process system isn't responding"

I am willing to try anything to get the device functional, if it means to build it from scratch. This is my first time venturing into this side of the world, I would be thankful if you can guide me with the steps to perform a build from scratch, or direct me to a blog where I can do this?
