[Q] Hard Brick i5s topic

Long story short i tried to partition sd card to increase internal memory. I knew i might screw up, so did a Nandroid back up as well.
So as predicted after the partition my phone went into a boot loop, so i went into recovery mode but clearing caches did not help (android system recovery 3e).
So Tried to flash the stock rom (update firmware). I have no idea what went wrong but SP flash tool showed everything was fine and the whole process was complete with a green tick pop up as well.
So after that the phone did not reboot/start/.. :crying:
Im pretty sure its hard bricked. But everytime i plug the USB to my phone i hear the windows notification sound??
Can anyone please help?? I bought this online and sending it back is not an option.

PS: The phone has a light adapter (like iphone 5s), SD card cannot be removed, Battery cannot be removed.
I have the complete rom with me. Model MTK6572 RAM512MB. Not original goophone.

Anyone know how to hard reset this phone? I'm stuck on the boot screen and have been holding down the power button for at least a minute, and nothing.

Hard Brick Ace, need help, my phone is doing strange things topic

Hello ,
I was flashing my 5830 with CWM then he shuted down while he was fully charged.
I was'nt able to reboot in any way (regular , download, recovery) : my screen is black, not even a little light.

But i plug it into the computer, and this time odin recognised it as 0:[COM17].
I was happy, and i put the firmware from samfirmware, and started flashing.
But he gets stucked at setup connection because he says that he can't open the serial COM port.

What can I do ?

Cannot change anything on my External Hard Drive topic

I have my USB 3.0 External Hard Drive plug it in the USB 3.0 port, and i cannot change anything on it with a File Manger, for some reason it is Read only,
can you please help me with that Mad Catz.

Tried it with Total Commander 2 and get Re-mount Error, and tried it with ES File Explorer 3 and get Sorry, operation failed.

I download allot and i need the Apps to download it strait to my External Hard Drive, whats te point of using a External Hard Drive if i cannot
change anything on it.

And why can i not plug the USB 3.0 External Hard Drive plug it in the USB 3.0 port, and plug a USB 2.0 stick in the USB 2.0 port at the same time?

This problem is not with my cheap MeLE M9 Android TV BOX.


And yes i have installed the latest Firmware 0202 and also have rooted it.

[Q] Hard bricked my mb886 topic

Hi guys! After a failed firmware, my mb886 is bricked. If press the button(Vol+ Vol- Pwr), nothing happens. And RSD doest detect phone.
Fastboot just doest work.
When connected to the pc it shows up as USB Input Device and HID-compliant in device manager. Hardware ID is (USB\VID_05C6&PID_F006&REV_0000).
Under Linux, defined as Qualcomm inc.
Now it's for parts or have a way to recover? Maybe someone has a JTAG pinout for mb886?

Hard bricked HTC one topic

Hi Guys,

I've done enough research, couldn't really find a legitimate answer. I have a rooted htc one m7 GSM. Rooted with cwm and cm 11 snapshot feb installed. Everything was fine. A few hours ago, I randomly got a "com.google.gapps" has stopped working. I pressed okay and it went away. A few minutes later I got 2-3 of those messages one right after another, and my google applications stopped working. Couldnt send texts, and log on to the play store.

I tried a few fixes and nothing worked. I decided to update my gapps, and while I'm at it install the new cm snapshot from march 17th.

I went into cwm and did wipe davlik and cache partition. Then was installing cwm. It took a while and about halfway through the phone randomly turned off. I knew I had about 50% battery so thats not an issue. I tried turning it back on and it wouldnt. I plugged it into the computer, the computer made the sound as if I plugged something in but nothing populated.

Tried vol up and down, power button alone. Saw a suggestion on here that said to use a bright light under the proximity sensor. Tried that as well.

The phone shows up as "qualcomm" in device manager when plugged in.

I CANNOT take this to HTC or the carrier for many reasons (no it is not stolen lol)

Gys I have no idea what happened to my grand today ..I was reverting back to stock rom using Odin and I had done this many times before but this time while I was flashing my phone using odin it disconnected and the phone not booting or entering to download mode not even charging:crying:

Was going to give it a try when I catch up to my wife who has a 16GB card I can backup and use.

I have known of the sd fix for Sprint for a long time, but they seem to have quite a few different images on that thread

[Q] Is my Samsung Galaxy s4 clone Hard Bricked? topic

I've been trying to fix this phone for about a week now with hardly any luck.

Problem: When pressing the power button to turn phone on, there is no samsung boot logo. the only thing that shows up is a black screen, [the backlight] it will stay that way until the battery dies.

i know it's not a problem with the display because i can get to the recovery screen by pressing the three buttons. i tried numerous wipes and factory resets, even tried to reboot from there. but it still wont boot up, it only ends up with that black screen. Also the green battery shows which further indicates that it's not a display problem.

That's basically all i know about this phone, not sure what mtk version it is either, i know it's a clone because on the hardware differences under the hood compared to the real S4. also it shows mt65xx [i installed the driver for it btw] when connected at battery screen.
[it's probably a legend or a superking since it's from korea i think]

Some things i've tried: i downloaded android SDK, MTK droid tools, SP FLash tools, for some reason, i keep getting error 8200 in sp flash tools and mtk droid tools doesn't detect my phone.
I tried flash updating firmware with adb sideload, it always ends up with an error ''aborted''. i can't enable usb debugging since the phone wont turn on.. :/,

Also can i make it work with a stock recovery img. or something?

Used Sprint Moto X No SIM card included, how hard is it to get one? topic

I am looking at a Sprint Moto X that is used and has a clean ESN. They don't include a SIM card. I was wondering how hard is that to actually get from Sprint and is there a cost? If it's too much then it's not worth it may be better for me to buy new.

I have searched about roms Galaxy Music GT-S6010 GTS6010L etc... But I was able only to find about requests for doing a cyanogenmod for this phone, rooting guides and upgrading to official 4.1 guides but nothing about custom roms. Why is nearly imposible to find or make roms for this phone? I think it would work perfectly with CM 10.1

How to use On Screen Phone? (the hard way) topic

Things with this device just keep getting better and better, it's amazing and earlier today the glass was cracked, so now the Digitiser is semi broken and I'm unable to unlock my patten lock, to change the USB mode to LG Software, then use On Screen Phone

Are there any workarounds, that involve not formatting / resetting my device please?

Also, I hope to save / backup data before repair too, so suggestions are welcome

[Q] Possible hard brick topic

So I just flashed my Xperia s to 4.1.2, version 6.2.B.0.200 in order to try out Trinity Vengeance RaptorXT v2.2 but the servers are down to download the rom. So after looking about I found an different version "Trinity Ultimate Kernel RipJawsZ Edition V2.2A TUX" so I downloaded it from here followed all the steps from here. Phone then switched off and I havent been able to get it back on since.

I have tried a hard reset holding power + volume up + volume down until it vibrates 3 times in succession but nothing.
Tried plugging it into PC but no led light appears.

I really dont know what to do.

Edit: If I hold the volume down button while phone is plugged into wall socket green LED flashes on and off. Also if I repeat the above method but have it plugged into PC LED flashes green and a noise is made by PC as if a device has been plugged into PC but no pop-ups or notifications appear.

I have a kocaso m9100 that is locked out due to my daughter forgetting the pattern and it won't accept her email. I've tried a Hard Reset but it seems to not have one. I've also reinstalled the latest Firmware (the supposed fix) but that also did not work. Any help would be great!

So here is the situation.
I want to get back to stock by repairing via SEUS, also to preparing for 4.3 update.
So i Relock bootloader and repair it via SEUS. But my phone only have 16% battery. I still turn it off and plug in SEUS. After more than 1 hours of downloading Firmware, it started to flash.
After starting for a bit, it shows an error and tell me that flashing failed. try charging the phone to 100% and then try again.
So I try connecting the phone to the charger. The LED shows red, but after like 1 minute, it turn to green and then the screen shows SONY. A few seconds later the phone turned off and LED shows red again. It just keep doing these proccesses again and again.
I try pulling the battery out and repair via SEUS but same error shows up.

Try to flash via Flashtool,show error 31: I dont remember, ill add this info later.

What should I do now :(( I saved so long to be able to afford this phone!
