[Q] Help Needed rooting GT-N7000 topic

I have a factory unlocked GT-N7000, i am wanting to root it, but i cannot seem to find the right post regarding rooting, and once rooted i would like to put a custom rom onto my phone, i am on 4.1.2, baseband N7000XXXLT3, Kernol Version 3.0.31-1103517, any help will be greatfull thanks in advance
