[Q] defy plus code corrupt help! topic

Hello

I'm trying to get a Defy and this problem is new to me. I installed the Retail Room, when the battery died in the process. Actually the battery is bad contact (discovered it today) and that every time I turn the phone gives the message:

Bootloader
09.10

Code Corrupt

Battery Ok
Ok to program
Connect USB
Data Cable

I tried to flash the rom retail again, and RDS Lite is only the message "SW Update In Progress .." ..

Stay long until the battery dies again, which I carry in another defy up to 100% and try again.

What can this be guys? What I have to do to burn the right rom? I've tried some Chinese rooms but without success.

please help bricked defy led white topic

Very good friends. I have a motorola defy MB525 bricked. not start. when I connect to PC, LED lights in white and does not recognize me from zero to flash firmware with RSD Lite (I hope you can give me some solution.

note: buy another battery thinking it was the battery but does not work. nor I can enter bootloader mode.

[Q] Motorola Defy getting stuck at boot menu topic

Hello,

I successfully installed cyanogenmod 7.2 on my Motorola Defy MB525 using the instructions from the cyanogenmod wiki "Install CM for jordan" (can't post link yet).

After a while, I wanted to install gapps, so I installed it from Bootmenu. After this, the phone was always booting to boot menu and I didn't know how to make it boot into the system, so I changed the "Boot" option default to something like "Normal", I think.

Now when starting the phone, all I see is the Google logo which stays there indefinitely.

I can still boot to BootMenu and tried a number of times to wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and re-install the cyanogenmod7.2 zip, but it still can't get out of the infinite loop.

I found out that a posible solution would be to flash an image with RSD Lite, but it seems kind of tricky and I would rather leave it as a last resort.

Any ideas?

[Q] Motorola defy black screen with white led topic

hi all i bought defy about a year ago as a second phone from ebay with cm7 installed.last week i purchase another phone and give my 7 years old daughter. however i reset everything and phone turn old version blur mod then stuck on m logo i download rom and sort the problem.

real problem starts now i try to install cm 9 download all required files wiped the phone and install the rom however it didn't restart stuck on black screen and only white led when connected with usb also didn't connect or recognized by rds lite.I found tread battery wake up from i think was ''mggrager'' or something else finally rds recognized the phone and install another sbf but still stays same as black screen and white.i read so many threats on this side or others and each i installed custom roms without clearing cache

battery replaced with replacement battery also original
all drivers installed
it doesn't respond any buttons or usb connection
rds only with battery jump

please help what to do

[Q] How To Root and Install Custom Roms Defy XT 525 topic

Hi everyone,

I'm very new on this work and I've got a little problem:

I wanna flash my phone with custom ROMs, but poorly, I couldn't even root it. I've found it in google, read many pages on this forum, and watched tutorials on youtube, but still got stuck. Actually, its not surprising, because my phone is not MB 525 or MB 526 (defy plus) but:

Model Number: XT535
OS: 2.3.7
Kernel version: Apps_2.6.38.6-perf
Build number: 1_540_1004

Yes I'm a novice, but I dont wanna do stupid thing by (maybe) repeating problem that has been solved. So I tried by my self:
I've tried to root using framaroot (newest version), but failed. It said: "err 5, Try another exploit"
I've also tried using superoneclick, but its always stuck, never done, even I tried to reboot my device.
Nah, I wanna do FLASH ROOT with sbf (other method which mentioned for defy plus), but I worry it will brick my phone as it has different BL.

Please help, I wanna make my phone rooted too, just like all the beginners who successful with it. If it has been written, please refer to me to that page.

Hi, guys..im trying to root my Defy+ and now i got problem with the sbf links. Old links seem to be broken.

Anyone can help me provide working links on all needed files? I need - Blur_Version.45.0.2310.MB526.AsiaRetail.en.03 - sbf files.

If can provide full guide and links that works please share it with me.

[Mini-Guide] Update stock Defy from Android 2.2 to 4.4 topic

I had some issues when I tried to update from 2.2 to 4.4. The description in http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2515036 is good, but the zip files can not be flashed to a 2.2 Defy with standard recovery. The more or less helpful error message was "E: Error in /sdcard/update-recovery.zip (status 0)". So there are some pre-requirements.

To get the zip-files installed I did install (maybe step 1 and 2 are not needed):

1. 2ndInitDefy


2. TWRP-2.1.1


3. CM10 (I think with TWRP-2.6.1.0)


4. update-recovery.zip (TWRP-2.6.3.0), then CM11, then gapps.

Defy+ frequently unresponsive modem with cm11 kitkat quarx ROM topic

Hi,

I own a Defy+ and I wanted to give it a try with kitkat. With stock ROM I had no stability problems, but when I load kitkat after a few minutes I get a message on screen , saying the modem has a problem and the phone wants to reboot, giving the choice immediatly, remind later or not reboot.
This happens with quarx ROM from 20.1.2014, but also with older versions. I even went back to CM10.1, but it has the same modem problem.
Someone suggested to change CPU and Voltage to fix a reboot problem, but it did not make a difference.

I found some instructions how to create logs when the problem happens, I followed this instructions

and cat /proc/kmsg into a file on sd card while the modem message appeared on screen.

The file is attached, I hope it is usefull. If something else is needed to track down the problem, pls let me know.
