Urgent: E988 unrooted, stock rom, India, acting "weird" after boot topic

Previous help requests by me told how i removed my memory card from mobile as service centre guy told me about possible battery drain.

Today i was little bored so i put my MMC in phone, rebooted and went to settings. Suddenly i see weird settings style on my phone (like samsung galaxy types) Attachment 2653997

Again not to mention, i have stock unrooted rom so can't say of any modifications! But when i try to go to "about phone" section, it force stops. Attachment 2653988

Over and above, i never saw this font 'bykzongyulpen' earlier ever. Now i am seeing it Attachment 2653992

Due to my sata credit limitations, i checked '2g network only' in data connectivity. Now i cannot even go there.

An urgent and immediate help will be appreciated!

Looking for Best Moto G Cases to Buy in India topic

How To flash stock rom on htc incredible s india mobile topic

I have installed custom rom,but it is not like a original OS , now i want to flash stock rom on htc incredible s (india mobile). Please help me

Refurbished GT I9500 INDIA 4.2.2 topic

Guys i am new to samsung and buying a refurbished S4 9500 india version with 6 months warranty from samsung with 4.2.2 firmware on it for Rs 20,000 actual price is now for new device is Rs 28,000

so i wanted to know that is it safe to upgrade and root it to 4.3 without having knox bootloader ?? ( dont want 4.4.2 because some people said it cant write to memory card + we cant downgrade then)
i dont want to get into knox thing and dont want to void the warranty also. so to avoid knox should i do this ?

1. Root 4.2.2 + install custom recovery ( dont know how to do that because its old firmware and all i can find info is about new firmwares)

2. flash 4.3 knox free stock rom ( i want only stock rom no custom rom because stock rom offers better camera features and shutter speed etc. etc.)


3. if i dont root or install custom recovery in 4.2.2 and simply flash via odin 4.3 stock firmware 2013 December 4.3 I9500XXUEMK9 will it contain knox ???

the main thing i want is to have 4.3 stock firmware with Root + custom recovery But no knox

is this the only things i need to do ?
do i need to keep in mind something else also ?

i am from nexus 4 so u guys must be knowing how we are addicted to flashing roms and kernels everyday but its not at all complicated like this :eek:

Hey man!! we know Nexus 5 D821 is 4G lte suppored.. but in India Lte is launched by airtel in some states using Band 40 2300mhz TD-LTE . So i wanted to know if its working or not ? (Indian lte = band 40 2300mhz TD-LTE).:)

I checked out some xda forums that says Lg g2 has snapdragon 800 and is capable of 4g lte In india. it does just require software update to do so! Is this true? (link = http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2455684&page=4 CHECK OUT POST NO. 35 and 39)

If yes Then NEXUS 5 should too?????::confused::rolleyes:

[Q] unable to update htc one x plus in india topic

hey developers..hi hello.. :)
im from india and i own a htc one x plus..i bought from ebay and phone software version is 4.1.1.
i heard that the update (4.2.2 with sense 5.0) has been rolled out on sep 13th 2013..
when i check for updates..it is showing that i dont have any updates available..
i mailed the u.s htc support for the first time and they said it is u.s manufactured..and the second time..i mailed the htc india support..they said it was manufactured in taiwan!
:confused:
i dont know what to do now..and i want my phone running the latest update..and by the way..my phone is not at&t or some other network..it is international version and im using a indian simcard right now..
how to update my htc one x plus in india?

[Q] Got a Note 3 N9005 from US in India, have queries! topic

Hi All,

I just got my hands on a Note 3 N9005 which I ordered from http://mygsmstore.com/242-samsung-n9...2gb-black.html, in US, and delivered via a friend here.

Now, the box has the SIM Lock EU sticker in french (so am guessing this is a France N9005). But as per the link and my talks, this is factory unlocked (yes, I asked this again from the guys @ gsmstore).

Please bear as I am yet to go ahead with the initialisation and configuration, but am asking my queries first.

My queries follow -

1. Although I am yet to check this, will I get the KitKat etc updates OTA here in India on this device?
2. And these will be the French/EU ROM, then?
3. Will I need to make any configurations / settings for GPRS / 3G here in Delhi?

If anyone has any idea or steps which I can follow, I would be obliged.

But please keep it simple, I am a techie but a new one in Android.
