Problems with Xposed after taking 4.4.2 OTA accidentally topic

I was rooted on my Verizon non-DE 4.4 Moto X, and kept delaying the 4.4.2 OTA. I had rooted with slapmymoto and MotoWPNoMo. Last night, drunk, I guess I accepted it at some point. It looks like MotoWPNoMo worked as advertised, and I still have root access (at least verified with the Root Checker app). But Xposed is not working (it was with 4.4). It says "The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?" I've done that many times, I've uninstalled and reinstalled rebooting multiple times through out the process. I'm not entirely sure if the problem is with root, or Xposed, or what. I've tried installing the Xposed 2.5 b1 apk with no success.

Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks

accidentally let it update to 4.3, how do I root my phone now? topic

I think I might have accidentally let my VZW Note II accidentally update to 4.3. (although I swear that it did it by itself without my permission. or it that not possible? I have denied it for a long time)

Anyway, what are the chances of rooting the phone now? :( How do I root it?

Thanks!

[Q] Accidentally wiped internal storage - cannot adb because driver won't install topic

Just got my LG G2. I rooted it and flashed a custom recovery and then wiped everything on the internal SD card. No biggie, I'll just adb sideload a rom. However, when I type in "adb devices" it says "list of devices attached" and then nothing is listed.

Device manager shows "g2" with an exclamation point. Following rooting steps I loaded the LGUnitedMobileDriver blah blah 3.10.exe and it installed correctly. I even tried it again, but I cannot get the g2 with exclamation point to go away. The computer is Windows 8 64 bit, and I tried it on my laptop which is Win 8.1 64 bit.

I also pointed the driver search to the LG Mobile United Driver folder and it couldn't install.

Is there a .zip file of the driver I can point to? I can't seem to find one and I need my phone :(

Please help!

Unable to Change Bootloader (accidentally installed wrong bootloader) Galaxy S3 I747 topic

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to install the latest Cyanogen Mod, but when I do, I get an assert error. I figured out through research that this is because the newest versions require an updated bootloader. So I naturally found the latest bootloader for my model and pushed it to my SD card to install it. However, when I try to install it with CWM, I get an error saying "You cannot flash from your current bootloader version. Current version: T999UVDLJA (Status 7).

I must have stupidly installed the wrong bootloader for my device? The strange thing is that my phone is a t-mobile phone, or so it says on the back, but the "about phone" section of my settings tells me it's the model SGH-I747, which is ATT. I bought it used, so I have no idea which it actually is. My question is, how do I change my phone's bootloader to the newer version so I can install the latest CM?

Thank you in advance!

Accidentally deleted everything, Kindle Fire stuck in TWRP topic

Hi,

I accidentally deleted everything through TWRP. I wanted the kindle fresh for my new ROM, and thought that deleting everything would make for a cleaner install. I was wrong and now all my kindle is good for is TWRP.

I tried mounting it, but windows doesn't recognize. Neither does Kindle Fire utility. Nothing shows up in device manager when I am in TWRP. It does however show up as android device when I am in the bootloader, but the second TWRP loads windows makes the noise when something gets unplugged and it dissapears.

I don't know what to do, nothing is working. When I restart the kindle it says superuser is not installed, and asks if I would like to install it. I say yes, and it fails. Super user WAS installed before I deleted everything. So was TWRP and FFF.

Any ideas?
